Senior Data Engineer
Design and build the pipelines, models, and platforms our clients run their business on.
About the role
You will work directly with client teams to understand their sources, design the target platform, and build pipelines that are tested, documented, and easy to operate. You will make architecture calls, write the code, and hand over something the client can run without us.
What you will do
- Design and build batch and streaming pipelines on cloud data platforms
- Model data for analytics and AI use, with tests and documentation
- Set up CI/CD, monitoring, and data quality checks for the pipelines you build
- Work with client engineers and analysts, and explain trade-offs in plain language
- Contribute to our reusable accelerators
What we look for
- Several years building production data pipelines
- Strong SQL and Python
- Hands-on experience with at least one of Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or a major cloud data stack (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience with orchestration (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, dbt, or similar) and version control
- Clear written and spoken communication with client stakeholders
Nice to have
- Consulting or client-facing delivery experience
- Experience with master data management or data governance tooling
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep)
